It has been a busy day at Beamish, and with so much to get ready, not many photos were captured, but for what it is worth, here is a very brief selection that I managed to grab during the day – hopefully revealing that there is much to see and so it is an event not to miss!!!
The timber-tramway theme is strong here, with Diana reaquanited with the work this locomotive was built for and carried out during WW1 – so a century on these themes recapture what is now long-lost to human memory…
